I have been having Spanish lessons with Marta since July 2022. Having lived in Spain for a year in 2006 I felt very confident speaking Spanish however it is true that if you don't use it, you really do lose it! I started online classes in the hope of improving my conversational Spanish. The lessons are always interesting & interactive and I have found them extremely helpful in improving not just the spoken language but my reading, writing and listening as well. Marta is very friendly and a great teacher, tailoring exercises and work to your needs and my confidence has finally started to grow again in speaking Spanish. I would really recommend Marta as a teacher.

Marta's classes are varied, interesting, flexible and fun. They can be learner driven, focussed on the content that I want to learn, or they can be more structured. They are great for the casual learner or for more formal settings, such as learning for work or passing an exam. As a tutor, Marta is kind and helpful. Also (thankfully) patient. One of the best things about learning with Marta is how she will take you out of your comfort zone while being mindful of your level and mood. The exercises are often personalised, which makes it more relevant and easier to remember. My experience has been great. At school, it took me 3 years to gain even a basic understanding of the language. With Marta's classes, I can now hold a (relatively) intelligent conversation and even follow a Spanish TV series or film - and it's been less than a year!

I have been having Spanish lessons with Marta for around 6 months now and I absolutely love them. I have learnt a lot more than I imagined in a short time and this is all down to Marta’s teaching style and how she plans the lessons. The lessons are always fun, whilst still covering a lot of topics and I am already finding that I can have conversations in Spanish with my Spanish friends 🙂 I always look forward to my lessons with Marta, even after a long day at work!

Marta is a wonderful teacher. She has taught me Spanish from scratch and in an exciting and fun way to learn. I have been able to write, read and pronounce Spanish words in a short amount of time which is amazing!
